Incidente diplomatico nel corso della serata di gala dei Golden Globe che cede al centro dell’attenzione niente meno che Taylor Swift
Se il 2023 è stato un anno straordinario per Taylor Swift, il nuovo anno si apre con un piccolo incidente diplomatico che sembra avere causato un certo fastidio sia alla cantante che al suo staff.
La questione riguarda la presenza di Taylor alla serata di gala dei Golden Globe dove la cantante, grande e attesissima protagonista degli imminenti Grammy Award – in programma nella notte del 4 febbraio alla Crypto.com Arena di Los Angeles – era coinvolta in un paio di categorie importanti.
Taylor Swift e la battuta infelice
Il premio cui Taylor Swift teneva in assoluto di più era quello relativo al suo Era’s Tour the Movie che proprio poche ore fa ha visto ufficializzato il suo record assoluto in fatto di incassi che lo ha reso il film concerto di maggiore successo di sempre. Ma le cose non sono andate come la cantautrice sperava. Nella categoria, appena nata, Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, il suo Era’s Tour The Movie è stato battuto da Barbie.
Esclusa dai trofei Taylor Swift si era presentata sul red carpet con larghissimo anticipo fasciata in un attillato vestito verde scintillante. Per partecipare al gala aveva rinunciato alla partita tra i Kansas City Chiefs e i Los Angeles Chargers nella quale giocava il suo fidanzato, Travis Kelce. Ma oltre al danno si è aggiunta la beffa. La scaletta prevedeva la presenza di alcuni attori e comici in scaletta: tra questi Jo Koy, comico chiamato all’ultimo istante a sostituire Chris Rock che si era chiamato fuori dallo show.
Koy ha immediatamente messo al centro del suo mirino proprio la Swift con una battuta pesante: ma non particolarmente riuscita… “Come sapete, siamo arrivati dopo un ricchissimo programma di football. La grande differenza tra i Golden Globes e l’NFL? Ai Golden Globes, abbiamo meno riprese di Taylor Swift, lo giuro”.
Una battuta riguardante il fatto che ogni presenza della cantante a un match NFL ha scatenato una pesantissima sovraesposizione mediatica con inquadrature, meme e moltissime riprese soggettive.
Un sorriso gelido
La telecamera, ovviamente, ha inquadrato Swift seduta al suo tavolo accanto all’amica Keleigh Teller. E la sua reazione alla battuta è stata inequivocabile. Un sorriso gelido. Di circostanza. La pluri-vincitrice di Grammy è rimasta estremamente seria e ha sorseggiato il suo drink rispondendo all’amica che le sussurrava qualcosa.
Già in precedenza Taylor Swift aveva dovuto rispondere ai giornalisti che la attendevano sul red carpet su questa vicenda: “Vado allo stadio solo per supportare Travis. Non so e non mi interessa se la mia immagine viene mostrata troppo e se la cosa fa arrabbiare qualcuno”.
La scena è ovviamente diventata virale, oggetto di numerose clip che hanno invaso i social. E la reazione dei fan di Taylor Swift non si è fatta attendere con pesantissime critiche nei confronti di Jo Koy.
Nessuna notizia invece circa l’annuncio del lancio di Reputation come prossimo album da riproporre in ri-registrazione. Ma chi conosce bene Taylor Swift sostiene che il suo vestito e quel colore, che ricorda molto il suo album di debutto, sia un chiaro riferimento al fatto che il prossimo album che la Swift si prepara ad annunciate con la sua Taylor Version sia proprio quello.
