Grammy Awards 2014, tutte le nomination

Qualche giorno fa vi avevamo raccontato i preparativi per il concerto delle nomination. L’evento ha avuto luogo ieri sera al Nokia Theatre di Los Angeles (LEGGI QUI). Tutto questo, in vista della celebre cerimonia di inizio 2014: poche ore fa sono state diffuse le candidature ufficiali per i 56esimi Grammy Awards, che si terranno proprio in California il prossimo 26 gennaio. Lista lunghissima, dove segnaliamo svariate categorie, tra le quali il country e la Christian music (si trova tutto sul sito ufficiale dell’Academy). Come in ogni competizione che si rispetti, anche qui esistono dei favoriti: Jay Z ha ben nove nomination, in scia seguono Pharrell, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis e Justin Timberlake con sette, poi Drake con cinque, Lorde e i Daft Punk con quattro…

Grammy Awards 2014

Manca ancora un mese e mezzo, eppure da quelle parti, a Los Angeles, è praticamente tutto pronto per accogliere i protagonisti dei Grammy Awards 2014. Sono state rese note le nomination dei celebri premi assegnati dall’Academy: conferme, come quelle di Jay Z (nove nomination), Macklemore & Ryan Lewis e Justin Timberlake (sette) Lorde e i Daft Punk (quattro), alcune sorprese, in testa quella di Dave Grohl per la colonna sonora di Sound City e l’assenza (o quasi) di Kanye West, che ‘porta a casa’ solo due candidature.

CURIOSITA’

Non fa notizia la presenza di David Bowie (miglior performance rock e miglior album rock) tra le nomination dei Grammy Awards 2014 che si terranno il 26 gennaio allo Staples Center di Los Angeles: i grandi campioni ci sono sempre. Sorprendono altre cose: senza dubbio è quantomeno curioso che nella stessa categoria (“Best Pop Solo Performance”) siano presenti due brani oggetto di discussione nei mesi scorsi, “Roar” di Katy Perry e “Brave” di Sara Bareilles: ricordate la storia del plagio più o meno presunto?
